About

UBA/DST is running a D-Star repeater since 04/09/09. It is located at the same site as the ON0DST FM-Repeater and sharing the same antenna.

"ON0DST B" is QRV on: 439.450Mhz, -7.6Mhz shift.
We are currently trying out the range. Feel free to send in some range reports to on8tt [at] on0das.be.

Gateway

The gateway is online and we are running DPLUS for Dongle and reflector users, as well as DSM for DGPS to APRS conversion.
Before you can use the gateway, you have to be registered with the d-star network. If you are a UBA/DST member, the best way to register is via the ON0DST repeater on https://dstar.on0das.be. After your registration, on of the sysops has to approve your registration by checking that you have a valid ham-radio licence.

Usage

To use the D-Star Repeater, please set the following settings in your D-Star radio:

Settings
Settings
YOUR: CQCQCQ
RPT1: ON0DST B
RPT2: ON0DST G
MY: MYCALL

Make sure there is a space between ON0DST and the letters B and G !
Replace MYCALL with your own callsign !
If you wish to link, replace YOUR by the destination call. When the link is setup, set YOUR to CQCQCQ.

DGPS/APRS

If you want to use the build-in DGPS function, please use GPS-A. Do not send a beacon more then once every 5 minutes! Everytime you push the PTT button, you will also send out your GPS-Beacon via the datachannel.
Please set your Unproto Address (Menu->GPS-A Set Mode->Unproto Address) to:

Unproto Address
Unproto Address
For the IC2820: API282,DSTAR*
For the IC92D: API92A,DSTAR*

Remote Control

We have also scripted in some commands. Click on the link for usage information and an example of the output. Sysops of other D-Star repeaters will also find the source code for each command.
The following commands have been scripted:

  • ON0DSTUX - Shows the uptime of the gateway.
  • ON0DSTPX - Shows the current public IP of the gateway. Useful for reaching the dplus website.
